Oceania

Oceania is the newest name for what used to be Australia but now contains New Zealand as well as the Pacific Islands. Oceania has an area of 3,296,044 sq mi and a population of 35,670,000 people. It is located in between asia and the americas. They have 28 official languages and no recorded GDP.

Australia is a hot spot for travelers. A great stop for backpacking. However, i would like to focus more on the Great Barrier Reef. The Reef is the largest reef system in the entire world. In fact it's Australia's most popular natural attraction. You can find the reef on the coast of Queensland in the northeastern part of Australia. So bring your scuba gear and head down to Queensland Australia. Australia is the biggest country in Oceania so its hard to miss it's right below Asia's chain of islands to the South. They have a population of 22,713,192 people as of 2011. It has an area of 2,941,299 sq mi. Their GDP is $65,477 Per capita. The national language is English.

Another great place to visit is Fiji. Fiji is known for it's blissful environment. The greatest place to visit would probably be Mamanucas and Yasawas. These are two adjacent chains of islands just off the coast of Viti Levu. The Yasawas Islands are great for Backpacking and travelers on a budget, and the Mamanucas, being less popular, are good for sandy beach visits and snorkeling. Either Island is a great destination for a good time.
